- Larry has held positions as President, Vice President & General Manager and Chief Product and Development Engineer for three separate companies. Responsibilities and accomplishments include; P&L, increasing sales by 5X, implemented cost accounting systems, measuring sales performance by profitability, supervised ISO certification, implemented Lean initiatives reducing scrap by 50% and increased production by 23%, JIT scheduling, purchasing through supply chain management, developed form of “Top Grading™” for HR increasing staff effectiveness. Ashtabula County’s Growth Partnership named Larry’s company as “Best in the County”, 2007.
- He is a passionate learner with a MBA degree from Lake Erie College, National Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification, a B.S. degree in Environmental Resource Engineering, State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, B.S. in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, Harvard Business School certificate in Strategic Planning, Line of Business Studies. Co-authored Engineering text; Modern Sewer Design, authored numerous articles in various publications. Certified in DISC (HR evaluation tool) and Value Builder (A tool for preparing a business to be sold.)
- Larry is a past Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Board for the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Western Reserve Council, Warren, Ohio. He facilitated development of Strategic Plans for various public non-profits and private companies. Larry was past president of “Lakestart”, a non-profit mentorship program start-ups business. Current Chairperson of Advisory Board for Learning About Business (LAB). Member of Advisory Board of Notre Dame College MBA program.
